The Tulepps

= two lepps

We are Cassandra + Stefanie Lepp, @thetulepps on IG, two sisters who run a grain farm in south west Manitoba. I (Cass) am the older sister although we often get asked if we are twins. We just tell people we are and that Stef hibernated for 4.5 years, ah the confused looks we get. I have my business degree from Brandon University with a focus on marketing and Stef has her Interactive Media Arts Diploma from ACC and focused on graphic design.

We have been farming for over a decade with our dad and he is gradually stepping back. We handle day to day operations, input planning and marketing. Neither of us have our class 1 yet, we are constantly learning and mediocre mechanics at best. Agriculture is nothing if it isn’t humbling. Our dad also owns an aerial spray company and we are the ground crew for him during fungicide season in July. It’s basically NASCAR style pit stops and non stop for a few weeks and then its over.

In our free time we show and occasionally breed AQHA horses. We usually travel around North America to shows. Along with our horses we also have 2 Great Danes, 2 Boston Terriers, and 3 cats between us. We call them our zoo.

We created The Tulepps in part because we were constantly told we did and do not look like farmers. That inspired us to start sharing our love of fashion, photography, travel, horses and story in hopes that we inspire others to be themselves. What you look like has nothing to do with what you decide to do and what you can accomplish. That is determined by your grit and determination. One of our greatest accomplishments since starting our personal brand is messages from mom’s telling us their little girls think princesses can farm because we do. That’s a powerful sentiment and one we are humbled by.

Thanks for stopping by,
Cass + Stef

"A tulip doesn't strive to impress anyone. It doesn't struggle to be different than. a rose. It doesn't have to. It is different. And there's room in the garden for every flower."
